    Hall of Shame Vote: Weatherlight

Inner sanctum is pretty obsolete. Some cards don't deserve to be printed, and this is one of them. OK, your creatures don't die to damage, but to compensate that you'll just kill yourself. Especially good against a red deck!

    Street Wraith: best card ever?

That's just a play of words, because assuming that it's unlikely you'd draw that one card is basically the same as assessing the chance you might draw that card. I don't think I got the point through. But: That's actually what I meant. Some decks just need certain cards in the first turns...

    Street Wraith: best card ever?

Let's keep it with more realistic scenario's like just the single Street wraith in your opening hand. On what basis do you decide to mulligan? Number and color of lands, combination of cards, something like that. If you have a street wraith you could make an assumption of what the seventh card...

    Street Wraith: best card ever?

It makes evaluating your opening hand a lot more difficult, because you don't know what you'll draw when you cycle wraith.

    Hall of Shame Nominations: Visions

Since I don't see a voting thread yet I assume I'm still in time... I nominate Time and Tide: All creatures that are phased out phase in and all creatures with phasing phase out. It's sort of a Snowfall: you could make it work for you if you have the right deck, but you'll never be able to use...

    my new *edited* Sliver Deck

You could cut two lands and two mana tithes I think. Vial'd fix your mana as well, it's a great card. Some recent slivers you might want to look into are Harmonic sliver (instead of disenchants!), Virulent sliver and perhaps Opaline sliver. Opaline sliver can be nice if you have something that'd...

    Bounce/Blinking Deck

Gilded drake might solve your giant problem. It's probably not easy to get a hold of though.

    Conflux rumors!

There's a land with transmute, that'll get you any land plus any spell costing 0. Like Engineered explosives. At least in legacy it is used, at least it has potential in vintage. Anylandyouwantcycling would have to cost less than 1UU, and I doubt that'd be balanced in extended.

    Conflux rumors!

I think because this block is about multicolored cards. So in this case, if your deck is base black, this card helps you find that single swamp and/or forest for a BRG card. It's landcycling with a twist.

    Conflux rumors!

I like the Rumor Mill, but I'm rarely tempted to discuss them. This one tickled my fancy, because it has some implications for casual players. Hopefully it's a cycle, with decent cards (because this one sucks): Yet another twist on cycling... landcycling to be exact. I put twisted abomination...

    Hall of Shame Nominations: Mirage

I think that apparently I've never had a good grasp of the subtleties involving casting spells.

    Hall of Shame Nominations: Mirage

Please enlighten me, what strong card interactions were available at the release of Mirage?

    Hall of Shame Nominations: Mirage

If not Warping wurm, I'd say Acidic dagger. I'd have suggested Lion's Eye Diamond, but that's a strong card today... but it made me quit magic back then. That, and the whole Mirage block. I had started with Ice age (or a bit earlier), and the jungle theme struck me as very out of flavor. I tried...

    Bounce/Blinking Deck

That seems like a valid concern. You could run Winding canyons in place of Vedalken Orrery. More land doesn't hurt.

    Bounce/Blinking Deck

I just found Winding Canyons. This might be the flash enabler you want.

    Hall o' Shame: Homelands Nominations

Is there any reason Apolypse Chime has a non-token clause? I'm not sold on these "destroy the set" cards being really, really bad though. There are cards that are really poor outside their own set. Like Leeches. Leeches would make sense if it was in a poison themed set. Unfortunately Homelands...

So what's new in Magic anyway?

I haven't read much of a major outrage about the cost of mythics, yet I had expected something like that. It could be that people got used to bizarre prices after Tarmogoyf. Anyway, there's no mythic rare or planeswalker that tempted me open my wallet.

    Bounce/Blinking Deck

Why pay 4 to give cards flash when you're already running a substantial amount of flash? I doubt the deck needs it. Flash is nice if you need to bounce opposing creatures with haste (otherwise you could do it on your own turn) or creatures that die on arrival (like evoke) that you need to bounce...

    Hall o' Shame: Homelands Nominations

Forget is a poor card, but is it that bad? If the effect was stacked in reverse the card would be more than decent. Discard wonder, walla, draw two. It's not a card that would kill your deck. I could imagine someone playing it in madness, if Breakthrough didn't exist.

    Hall o' Shame: Homelands Nominations

Leeches always seemed pretty pointless to me. If you're building a deck around poison, why use this instead of more poison? If you're using this against poison... you're a moron. Why run this maindeck? There are three people with poison decks. In the whole world. Not counting hulk flash combo...
