Well, posting the layout like that does simplify things. I guess we'll all get into position for battling whatever it is behind the curtain and wait for Spidey's return so Throg can do his thing and get this last part started...:)

Ty nibbles a bit on a chunk of Waybread while he waits for the battle to start, because waiting like this makes him a little nervous and he eats when he's nervous...

But do we really need to wait for Spidey? We could just assume that Dorgath charges in on his own and draws the attention of whatever is in the room so that everyone else can sneak up on it or something... :p

"Bah, I was ready before the last greenskin hit the floor. Let's go."

Dorgath leads the way if the barrier is down, or will lead the way once the barrier is down.

The Tentacled One
At Dorgath's encouragement, Tomas and Throg touch the green icons together. The barrier disappears, revealing a spacious chamber. In the center of the chamber, a large, vertical column of intense white light rises above an ornate stone fountain. Suspended in the air directly over the fountain, halfway up the room, is an elven woman writhing in delirium: Jekaena. She is scarcely recognizable from the phantom images you've seen in the dungeon, fragments of her own memories. That Jekaena was tall, young, strong, radiant, and full of energy. This one looks haggard, her mangled foot wrapped in thick bandages, her eye sockets sunken and emaciated, her skin dry and cracked from dehydration. She looks like she's been floating in that column for days, and she won't last too much longer.

As you advance toward the fountain, you are assaulted by a wave of some foul smell, unlike anything you've ever encountered before. Well, unlike anything most of you have encountered before. Throg seems to recognize it. Beneath the glare of the pillar of light, huge, monstrous forms drift toward you from behind the fountain...

"Nurgle Beasts! I used to have one as a pet until it grew up and killed my family."

Throg will activate his Chalice of Night and charge up his Wound-Stealing Axe of Mighty Striking and attack whichever beast seems less likely to kill Dorgath. The other one he'll name "Lumpy".

Ty realizes a bit too late that eating right before fighting monsters that smell bad is a terrible idea...

Ty, nauseated by the stench, goes over to the corner and pukes, then gathers himself and looks around for a spear or a polearm or something to try and fight the things without getting too close to them. If successful he will attempt to poke and taunt the beasts, kiting them around the room giving the magic guys and Carrow time to kill them with spells and arrows (respectively).

Tomas casts Freeze! at the beasts, prioritizing the ones closest to the warriors.

Ty does not find any conveniently placed spears. At this point, Dorgath, Throg, and Revaethan are already forming the front line. Ty still has the option to either join them or to hold back and wait for an opportunity to do something else...

"Darn it, Ty! If you're gonna hurl, do it on a beast. That way, at least the stench is contained."

Ty, frustrated in his search, takes out the pit flail and tries to skulk around in behind the beasts looking for an opening while being careful to avoid the corrosive slime trail.
