Round 4
-The Power Phase is 6 for this turn.
-Alberto Laranscheld attempts to cast a necromantic spell...
-With a theatrical gesture, Laranscheld calls for the dark powers to grant him a blade of power. His hand is swathed in blackness for a moment, then emerges as Laranscheld triumphantly clutches... a bunch of flowers.

"No, no. A Blade of Power. I said 'Blade of Power'!"

-Kelgar blesses Carrow with Vanquish. Carrow gains an extra attack this turn.
-Dorgath tosses a bag of Flash Powder (4 bags remaining). The explosion distracts the monsters, giving the Warriors each an extra attack this turn.
-Carrow misses his target completely.
-Carrow scores a minor wound on Laranscheld (1 damage).

-A rat jumps up and attacks Carrow's face (5/14).
-The rat's deathleap exposes it to Carrow's counterattack. The rat is killed.
-Throg skewers the last rat, then steps forward to give Dorgath more room.
-Dorgath moves behind Throg.
-Carrow is finally able to move back away from the monsters so that he can loose his bow without pesky creatures trying to attack him.
-Kelgar steps in front of Carrow, blocking any monsters from being able to reach the elf (now that the bats are out of the way) unless they get through him first.
-The Warriors brace themselves as the ghouls begin climbing down to attack.
-Kelgar's Ring of Jade suffuses Kelgar (12/14) and Carrow (11/14) with a healing glow.
-Kelgar collects 60 gold for his healing efforts! Praise Sigmar.
-Alberto Laranscheld fully regenerates himself.

I'll note, since you guys can't see the actual dice, Carrow has generally been getting above average to-hit rolls on his bowshots against Laranscheld. And the damage roll on every single hit so far, without exception, has been a 1. It's not that Laranscheld has some massive toughness or protective spell that is making the arrows do little damage. It's just bad luck.

Dorgath throws another Flash Powder in the midst of the ghouls and then starts bashing away, still trying to reach Alberto.

The Tentacled One
Notes: The ghoul directly behind Dorgath has lost 3 Wounds and is in bad shape from Dorgath's attack and Carrow's undead-burning sword, but is still standing. The two ghouls directly in front of the gate have each lost 1 Wound. The ghoul surrounded by Throg, Dorgath, and Kelgar has sustained 1 damage. The other ghouls are intact. Alberto Laranscheld has sustained damage from Carrow's arrows, but this is the first turn that has ended without him regenerating away all of his damage. He took 5 and regenerated 2, so he's sustained 3 net damage. He does not appear to be undead, so the Amulet of Charadris wouldn't affect his regeneration even if he were close enough.

Throg: 13/19
Dorgath: 9/15
Kelgar: 14/14
Carrow: 14/14

I initially posted this without accounting for the Blade of Couronne. That was a mistake. Any character that is using a ranged weapon can also have a melee weapon counting as "equipped" in case that character is pinned. Since Carrow cannot be pinned (one of the Elf's perks), he can still shoot arrows even when monsters are attacking him in melee range.

How did the ghouls get behind us?

"We need to get the necromancer! Throg, get up there!" Dorgath awaits space to get to the wall to climb up, attacking the ghoul behind him while he waits.

Throg couldn't climb up? Or he needs to clear a space up there to be able to climb?

Dorgath continues to attack the ghoul(s) in his reach while awaiting a chance to climb up.

The Tentacled One
Yeah, it's going to be nearly impossible to climb up while all of the ghouls are trying to climb down. If Dorgath or Throg wants up there, they are going to have to either kill the ghouls or find a way around them.
