Round 4
-The Power Phase is 6 for this turn.
-Alberto Laranscheld attempts to cast a necromantic spell...
-With a theatrical gesture, Laranscheld calls for the dark powers to grant him a blade of power. His hand is swathed in blackness for a moment, then emerges as Laranscheld triumphantly clutches... a bunch of flowers.
"No, no. A Blade of Power. I said 'Blade of Power'!"
-Kelgar blesses Carrow with Vanquish. Carrow gains an extra attack this turn.
-Dorgath tosses a bag of Flash Powder (4 bags remaining). The explosion distracts the monsters, giving the Warriors each an extra attack this turn.
-Carrow misses his target completely.
-Carrow scores a minor wound on Laranscheld (1 damage).
-Carrow hits again, but still fails to get a particularly damaging shot (1 damage).
-A rat viciously tears into Throg (14/19).
-A rat jumps up and attacks Carrow's face (5/14).
-The rat's deathleap exposes it to Carrow's counterattack. The rat is killed.
-Throg skewers the last rat, then steps forward to give Dorgath more room.
-Dorgath moves behind Throg.
-Carrow is finally able to move back away from the monsters so that he can loose his bow without pesky creatures trying to attack him.
-Kelgar steps in front of Carrow, blocking any monsters from being able to reach the elf (now that the bats are out of the way) unless they get through him first.
-The Warriors brace themselves as the ghouls begin climbing down to attack.
-Kelgar's Ring of Jade suffuses Kelgar (12/14) and Carrow (11/14) with a healing glow.
-Kelgar collects 60 gold for his healing efforts! Praise Sigmar.
-Alberto Laranscheld fully regenerates himself.
I'll note, since you guys can't see the actual dice, Carrow has generally been getting above average to-hit rolls on his bowshots against Laranscheld. And the damage roll on every single hit so far, without exception, has been a 1. It's not that Laranscheld has some massive toughness or protective spell that is making the arrows do little damage. It's just bad luck.
