Before the squigs have a chance to charge him, Throg deftly moves behind Kelgar for cover while switching weapons and placing the lantern in the corner of the room.

-Carrow shoots a goblin in the heart, dropping the monster instantly.
-Carrow fires a second arrow, but his target ducks beneath the arrow's path.
-A cave squig chomps on Kelgar (8/14).
-A cave squig bites Kelgar's leg (6/14).
-A cave squig bounds into Dorgath (13/15).
-Dorgath manages to sidestep a cave squig's attack.
-A cave squig trips or falters or something. You can't really tell with these things. Whatever happened, it failed to reach Dorgath.
-A cave squig jumps up and attacks Dorgath's head (9/15).
-Throg switches weapons. He is wielding his Axe of Mighty Striking and holding his Sword of Defiance in his off-hand.
-A goblin tries to stab Kelgar, but the priest shoves the monster away.
-Kelgar fumbles and drops his hammer on the floor. He quickly crouches and picks it back up.
-Kelgar swings for a goblin, but his opponent has already moved out of range.
-Dorgath's Great Axe Attack strikes a cave squig with such force that everyone gets little bits of cave squig guts sprayed on their clothes. Gross! The cave squig is very dead.
-Dorgath's deathblow scores a second Great Axe Attack. You get more cave squig guts on you.
-Dorgath tries to kick a goblin, but pulls a muscle instead.

Everyone, even the cave squig, raises their heads at a sudden, intense rumbling sound from above. Cracks appear in the doorway behind you and begin propagating. Small rocks shower Carrow and Throg. Thinking quicly, Carrow lunges for the lantern and dashes straight into one of the goblins, escaping the cave-in. Throg find and opening too, and a large section of the room is buried under fallen rock.
