I think we're all ready since we were prepared for a fight here and didn't get one, and it looks like that door at the pit is the last one, so let's go!"

The trek back through the halls is interrupted after two turns by a lone, wandering mummy, which nearly bumps into the warriors as they reach the secret doorway just south of the sand trap.

Dorgath demurs. "Why don't you help me with this mummy instead?" Dorgath growls as he leaps to attack.

Is the mummy attacking us? Can't we just go around? After our last encounter with a mummy, I think I'd rather avoid this one.

Does poison work on mummies? If so, Throg will poison up his Sword of Defiance and burn whatever's left of his Chalice of Night rolls while slashing at the mummy. Otherwise, he'll just slash at the mummy.

While Spiderman is gone, Dorgath accidentally triggers a magical trap that causes him to switch bodies with an elven princess. He is held captive by goblins for a year and is forced to sign a binding contract to become Throg's slave in order to escape.

-The mummy lunges for Dorgath, but the dwarf evades it.
-The mummy rushes Dorgath. The dwarf trips the undead monster to the floor. Attacks against the mummy are at +1 to hit for the remainder of the turn!
-Kelgar bashes the mummy's chest (2 damage).
-Dorgath chops the mummy's neck (3 damage).
-Dorgath badly misses his kick attack.
-The mummy's Tomb Rot afflicts everyone for 2 damage.

-Dorgath's Lifestone of Ahraz restores 2 of his Wounds.
-Kelgar blesses Carrow with Vanquish. Carrow gains an extra attack for the turn.
-Carrow attempts a powerful blow with his sword. He collides with the mummy as the monster recovers its footing, but manages to stabilize himself.
-Carrow stabs the mummy in the shoulder (1 damage).
-Throg's fear of the mummy causes his aim to falter and he misses as he thrusts his sword at the creature.
-Throg throws a crippling kick at the mummy (4 damage). Of course, the monster still stands. Sturdy thing.
-The mummy clutches at Dorgath. The dwarf narrowly hops out of the way.
-Again the mummy tries to grab Dorgath, but the dwarf manages to duck and avoid the attack.
-Dorgath's swing falls short of the mummy.
-Dorgath lands a nasty kick, but the mummy's sheer toughness absorbs the attack.
-Kelgar nervously bats at the mummy. It's not very effective.

-Carrow slices at the mummy, but the monster sidesteps.
-Carrow strikes the mummy's head, but loses his footing and his attack has little power behind it. The mummy shrugs off the attack.
-Throg attempts to flank his foe, but fails and can't land a hit.
-Throg misses his kick.
-The mummy tries to clobber Dorgath, but the dwarf shields himself with his axe.
-The swipes at Dorgath, but is way off.
-Dorgath loses his concentration and just misses the mummy.
-Dorgath lands a kick that actually hurts the mummy this time.
-Kelgar charges the mummy and hits the wall instead.
-The mummy's Tomb Rot afflicts everyone for 1 damage.
-Carrow's Blade of Couronne drains 1 Wound from the mummy.
