The ghost was no longer visible after the door opened, but searching the skeleton reveals 20 gold and a bloodstained scroll.

 

[Spiderman]

Dorgath reads the scroll.

 

[Mooseman]

That should turn out well. Carrows keeps an eye on the room they are now in, waiting for the next problem to occur.

Throg will read over Dorgath's shoulder.

 

[Spiderman]

"Dude, you need a tic-tac."

 

[Spiderman]

It seems the note says:

"seek ye the star of dawn and seek ye too your doom
power beyond all telling
to break the power of the tomb
death to the sorcerer who stole it
for yea he did steal my life
the star that brings power and riches
courts misery, danger, and strife"

This "star of dawn" sounds cursed.

Dorgath takes the gold for splitting later and searches the rest of the corridor for traps and other secret doors.

 

[Oversoul]

Dorgath doesn't find any secret doors. But the door door at the end of the corridor is highly unusual. It seems to be covered in some sort of skin that is branded with unidentifiable symbols.

 

[Spiderman]

Dorgath attempts to identify the skin and then examines the skeleton to see if he can determine the cause of death.

 

[Oversoul]

It appears to be some sort of leather. As for the skeleton, it's mostly intact and doesn't offer any clues as to what killed him (other than the fact that it was definitely not a crushed skull or the like).

 

[Spiderman]

"You guys wanna go back to the tomb room and finish there? Or check out this leather skin door here?"

 

[Mooseman]

Check out the door, the tomb will wait.

 

[Spiderman]

Dorgath will check the door for traps.

 

[Oversoul]

Dorgath finds no traps on the door.

 

[Spiderman]

"All right guys, you ready?" Dorgath waits until everyone is ready, then opens the door.

Throg is ready.

 

[Mooseman]

Carrow is ready as is his bow

 

[Spiderman]

"Let's do this." Dorgath opens the door.

 

[Oversoul]

There is a flash of light, and Dorgath is thrown back as he tries to open the door. The runes on the door glow, then fade after a few seconds.

Dorgath takes 4 damage from the door.

 

[Spiderman]

"Argg! That stung. Well, let's go back to the other room, yes?"
