Nothing Special
HELLO! There's a giant freaking monster tree attacking us all RIGHT NOW! We don't have time to think and plan. Just attack before we all end up dead.

Throg thinks we're fine with our current position, but he's also fine with a 4th warrior getting close, so long as he isn't the one blocked from escape.

Firebomb incoming already. Spidey announced that earlier. Haven't rolled for it yet. So how are you guys spacing yourselves?
It seems that spacing ourselves properly will have some bearing on our survivability here, though it doesn't seem like there's a lot of options. I'd suggest the 3 primarily melee characters, Ty, Throg, and Dorgath, will form up and "tank" the thing holding a defensive line, while the ranged fighters will damage from behind and the healers will try to keep the front-line guys alive.

Either that, or we try to find a way to get off this wall so we can make an attempt to surround the thing...;)

All right, this seems to be the time to go "all in". Hopefully I can use all of these:

"Jakaena, keep healing!"

First, Dorgath will throw Flash Powder and hope that affects the Shambler.
Next, Dorgath will use his Axe's double attack ability/power, his Death Rune ability/power, his Lucky Talisman power, and the Grease Escape ability, all in the same round. If I can, I'd like the Death Rune to be used with the Lucky Talisman automatic hit, but if that's too much to hope for, that's okay :)

Can Throg not try to freeze this thing?
Oops. I had him trying to freeze it after Ty's (attempted) attacks so that all of the Warriors could try to damage it and then it would be frozen and lose all of its own attacks. It missed, but I either forgot to type that line or clipped it out by mistake when I meant to move it from Throg's lines to below Ty's lines.

-Carrow lands yet another shot. The HFS seems to wince, but isn't really damaged.

-Let's all take a moment to acknowledge how clearly overpowered dwarves are. Done? OK, moving on...
-Dorgath misses his next attack.

-Throg trips over his own feet.
-Throg almost crashes into Dorgath.
-Throg's fear causes his attack to glance harmlessly off the Shambler.
-Throg falls down.
-Throg leaps back up and lands an impressive kick on the HFS. It looks painful, but the monster ignores it anyway.
-Throg snaps at the HFS with his poison bite. He doesn't connect.
-Throg swings his razor claws around and doesn't hit anything.
-Ty loses his balance and backpeddles, knocking Jekaena over.
-Ty rebounds and plunges his fist spike into the Shambler (3/60).

As he struggles to yank his arm free after stabbing the Shambler, Ty is flipped into the air. He somersaults and comes crashing down into some stout branches along the front of the elemental. The pit fighter throws himself at the hulking monster in a frenetic onslaught. Ty seriously looks like a total maniac. The Shambler desperately casts out vines to defend itself, but Ty hacks right through them and continues to bash, stab, rip, and bludgeon it. Even Throg seems to possibly be a bit disturbed at Ty's psychotic assault. But it works. The Horrible Forest Shambler begins to crumble into fragments. The top half of the monster tumbles off the top of the wall and shatters into a cloud of dust as it impacts the ground below.

As the dust settles, it becomes clear that Nayadra is long-gone. She fled at some point before the battle was over. True to her word, there are numerous battered humanoid skeletal remains resting amid the mass of slime and wilted plant matter that comprise the carcass of the Shambler. The beast really did eat people, and quite a lot of them.

The only thing disturbing him was the ineffectiveness of his attacks. Also, he thinks someone farted.
It WAS disturbing, how ineffective ALL our attacks were (except Dorgath's, that is)...sheeesh. It'd be cool if I could do that berserker thing on demand...

I'm going with the HFS being flatulent...yeah, that's it. The HFS must've farted...

EDIT: Or was that my Whirlwind attack for the adventure? If so, excellent time for it...:)
