On the way back in .... are the things we moved/killed still in the same place, or have they been moved?

No traps on the door.

They're still there.

Unless someone else wants to listen at the door, I guess I'll do it...

You don't hear anything behind the door.

Karnage, a little stiff from the healing, moves to point and opens the door once everyone is ready and prepared for a fight.

I'll stand to the side with the torch, a dagger in hand...

Karnage opens the door, spoiling for a fight...

And is disappointed to see an empty room (of threats).

The room is 30' E-W and 20' N-W, with the door in the center of the north wall. Directly across the room from the door is a huge wooden table. Behind that is set an ornately carved wooden chair. On the table is a candlestick, a feathered quill pen, and several pieces of parchment. Another door is in the south part of the west wall.

*Examines the parchment.*

 

[Spiderman]

Cugel steps to the table and looks at the parchment.

 

[Oversoul]

"It looks like scribbles to me."

*Examines the rest of the items on the table.*

Si'Nat

(moves to examine the parchment... puts the quill, candlestick and excess parchment in his pack... then checks the South door for traps and sounds and readies his bow...)

"Tidbits here and there... now... what's over here..."

Prepares for door opening! <snicker>

 

[Spiderman]

Cugel manages to look at the rest of the items on the table before Si'Nat stuffs them in his backpack, but they seem to be run-of-the-mill items. Si'Nat also sees just scribbles and non-legible markings on the parchment. Si'Nat then moves to the west door and examines it.

"Best I can tell nothing to surprise us..."

Karnage sighs from boredom, moves to the next door since everyone seems ready and is close up, and opens the door, sword as always.

Does it look like scribbles to me as well? or is it perchance something more?

Patrick stands by this door, torch & dagger in hand...

Looks like scribbles and gibberish to you too.

Karnage opens the door and sees a passage going 30' west before turning south.
