Keeping the formation you've been in, you travel 40' east, 10' north, 20' east, and 50' south. Though you have 10 more feet south before the corridor turns east, you hear some <clanking> coming from around that corner.

Coming around the corner <clanks> a bunch of skeletons. Since you were aware of them, you have the initiative.

Si'Nat and Cugel let loose with their arrows. Si'Nat's flies into a wall but Cugel strikes the one on the left (they're in double-file) and almost brings it down.

Karnage and Rondo leap to the attack but their long sojourn in the room must have left them a bit rusty; their blades fail to get past the skeletons' guard.

The skeleton facing Karnage manages to draw blood with its return blow; Rondo's opponent fails to hit him.

Round 2 - Party gets the initiative

(I would continue with the attack except that Karnage got slightly wounded)

**patrick grumbles having wasted his spell thinking the clanking was the plate mail of more clerics..... That's what I get for not waiting...**

Patrick will throw daggers when the opportunities arise.

*Bah, only a flesh wound*

Karnage snarls and tries his best to return the skeletons to their previous, un-moving state... er... *ahem* ...he uses his blade to bash some skulls...

(Sorry about not listing the spell; I forgot about it)

Patrick's dagger goes wide. Si'Nat and Cugel have better succes however; Si'Nat's flies into the one on the right and shatters the skull, dropping the skeleton. Cugel's arrow finishes off the one on the left.

With a roar, Karnage swings a mighty blow and smashes the one that was behind Si'Nat's to the ground. Rondo's blow goes wide though.

The skeletons blows are futile and Karnage and Rondo parry their blows.

Round 3 - Party gets the initiative (since nothing has changed, I'll keep going)

Patrick takes better aim and his dagger flies into Rondo's opponent, nearly taking off the skull. Si'Nat misses this time but Cugel continues his streak, hitting a glancing blow on Karnage's (new) opponent.

Karnage and Rondo's blades ring against their opponents.

Karnage stays untouched by his opponent but Rondo receives a minor gash when his skeleton's blade find a chink in his armor.

Round 4 - Skeleton's get initiative.

Karnage keeps up a dazzling wall of steel while defending and Rondo's brings up his axe in time to parry his skeleton's blow.

"Is that the best ye gots, skinny man?!" Rondo shouts in defiance, as he wades in to deliver his next blow.

Karnage starts to get THAT look in his eyes... blade spinning and bashing the boneheads this way and that... he starts to almost gibber and cackle as he destroys his foes...

Si'Nat's arrow speeds over Rondo's head and smashes into his opponent, finishing it off. Cugel's luck fails him and he misses.

The skeleton's aren't fazed by Karnage's cackling and gibbering, but his blade shows more results. The one facing him does get smashed down with his sword. Like Cugel though, Rondo doesn't have any luck in penetrating through to his (new) opponent.

Round 5 - skeletons get initiative

Both Karnage and Rondo succeed in keeping their opponents blades from touching them.

Both Si'Nat's and Cugel's arrows fly too high and hit the walls.

Karnage is on a roll and hacks off an arm. Rondo still fails to hit.

Round 6 - skeletons get initiative

This time, Karnage and Rondo's tiring arms cause a lapse in their defense. Karnage is stabbed in the leg while Rondo receives a slight slash across an arm.
