Wait, wait, hold up. After the Titan's ability resolves and we have priority again, Spidey taps out to cast Fiery Fall on your Horror, triggering the Ancient. Responses?

If none, then we are content to let combat continue and resolve to hopefully win the game as you have 33 damage coming at you. If you have any effects during combat (During Attackers or During Blockers), then of course we may have a response in return.

Yeah, I lose. That was brutal. I really think my topdecks were so bad from both decks that I might have lost to just one of you guys, let alone all three. :eek:

Whew! Good game but yeah, that was brutal. My initial hand was one land so that's why I mulliganed (after consulting with my partners) and went the other extreme, 6 lands and 1 spell. Glad they had much better hands to handle the early game :)

The internet discussion seems to weigh towards Nicol Bolas being stronger than the Gatewatch, though it seems there is a lot of disagreement between playgroups, which would make sense. I definitely think those Schemes were not in the best order for you. I'll play again, I'd probably prefer to run it back and see how it goes a second time, but I'm up to switch to whatever decks other people would like.

If I remember correctly, it couldn't possibly have mattered in retrospect. If you'd chosen the other way I'd have more creatures (all three of the cards that went to the bottom of my library were creatures, but only Harvester of Souls was much use to me at that point) and wouldn't have been able to kill those threats. I was hoping to buy more time to build a up a relevant board position that you guys couldn't deal with so easily. Turns out after I'm dead that 8 of my next topdecks are lands, so I was super-duper dead anyway.
