I never really liked the banner idea that much. Besides, the internet ad market isn't really that great now (and hasn't been for years). What makes it worse is that we don't really get a ton of page views per day, so I don't even know what sort of partnership/banner revenue we could pull in.

Well, you already (over)paid for the domain name, so don't worry about it.

Since we split from Magic Singles (and Chuck? I don't even remember his name...), I've paid for it. Before that, he was paying for it. Just checked my old emails, and that actually happened waaaaay back in August of 2001.

No PO box, although I do have a home address. I also can do PayPal. Not that it really matters. Although, to be honest, it would be nice to recoup some of the hosting costs -- $16.95/month. Although that's nothing compared to some of the sites I've done work for ( :eek: ).

I'm fine with that definition of a hacker (wasn't sure if you were referring to a 'cracker'). I got hired as a vB developer by releasing some 'hacks' for the software (private messaging was my big one). As far as the coding, you don't see most of it -- it's all processed on the server side...

I generally read all the threads in the suggestions forum, but I usually don't reply; I like to hear as many other opinions before laying down the law. ;) I don't know if I want to extend them directly as some of the names can get pretty long. But I do like the idea, so I'll see what I can come...
