"I think it was orcs. Their leader was named Skund or something. But they could be anywhere by now. As for the treasure, I don't know much about it, but it's supposedly elven."

"Well, might as well follow the first plan before we 'forgot' there was a trapdoor and leave for a bit to talk to the dwarves and recover a bit. We can bring this guy along with us. But before we do..."

Dorgath drops into the cell (tied with the rope if necessary) and does a quick check for secret doors or panels.

Since it's been a while, which has been my fault, it's understandable if everyone has forgotten that one of the items found in the cell was a key. I wouldn't bring it up ordinarily, but it's been so long since the cell was broken into that I would be surprised if anyone remembered the key.

It's quite easy to get into and out of the cell now that the trapdoor is gone. Dorgath finds nothing in the cell anyway.

I've run into some sort of bug with the PM system. It lets me fill in the recipient and the title, but the field for the body of the message never actually appears. Anyone else have this problem?

Kelgar points out that the prisoner did not actually take the candle from Throg. He snuck off while no one was looking. Throg would have noticed this as well, but didn't get the PM on account of the PM system malfunctioning. :p

Throg has an idea. "Let's use this key to open something."

Are there any locked doors that we may have also forgotten about?

There's a door in front of us? Is it the "secret" door or are the one at the bottom of the pit? Where are we, again? I tried reading back, but there's just too many words. It hurt my head.

That's really helpful. Thanks. Is it just me, or does everyone's handwriting look the same when they write in paint?

So who has the key? Let's try opening each of the doors.

The key does indeed fit the lock on the secret door that Dorgath discovered earlier. This small corridor is illuminated by a torch hanging from a wall in the corner.hallsofthedead04.png
