WARNING: do not use google's new web accelerator while on the forums

I do not know all the details, but google has a new web accelerator that makes a cache of pages you've visited. For whatever reason, there's a bug or exploit that can cause private information to pecome public, such as PM's and login/password combos. This seems to be an especially big problem with vBulletin

Just a heads-up.

EDIT: OK, it seems google caches everything and then makes it available on the search engine, including stuff like PM's.

I don't really use web accelerators at all... and I've still got dialup.


I don't see the point to web accelerators... They only trick you into thinking your web is going faster by doing some underhanded things.

This seems to be an especially big problem with vBulletin
I already emailed Google about that. They seem to be ignoring the headers we sent that tell it not to cache the page.
