Changed from how long ago? This was back when the Stack was first introduced and the new steps or phases in 6th edition...

You sure? I was informed by a judge at a tourney about 3-4 years ago that there were no responses until after blockers had been declared.

Hey, even judges make mistakes.... see some of my responses to rules questions as proof. Although, that is a fairly big mistake.

This is a good card, if you play it after blockers declared, then they can't be used a blockers and your attackers get trample.......
Uhm, if you are attacking, you get the tokens and your creatures get trample.. but thats still not too good right?

That is a horrible mistake.. you sure this guy was actually a judge?

Oops.... I was thinking it was the blocking player that gets the tokens.......
That makes this a huge card for the attacking player to play.....hmmmmmm
Not as good as Overrun, but you get 3 chump blockers......

Positive. You can go look up the 6th rules and see for yourself. I'm hoping the judge was confused because that's such a basic mistake, if he was serious, he shouldn't have been a judge

Wait a minute, were you in the declare blockers part of combat?
There are no responses once blockers are being declared......
How was the question asked? Like:
"Judge, can my opponent respond to my declaring creature X as a blocker?"
"There are no responses until all blockers are declared."

What happened was:

I was attacking with a creature and I wanted to cast some instant one of my creatures (or his?) after I attacked, but before he blocked (I was trying to fish a particular burn spell out of his hand). However, he disputed this and we quickly called a judge. The judge stated that instants and could not be played in combat until after blockers were assigned. I have believed this to be true since. Damn Level 1 judges!!!!!!!!

Right, onto new cards:

Esurient Maggots 2BR
2BR, Sacrifice <THIS>: Destroy target artifact
2/1

And,

Limning Light WWW
Instant
Put a token into play as a copy of target creature attacking you, except the token is white.

Level 1? There you go... although it's still such a basic error that even THAT should be revoked...

I forget who and exactly when it was, though...... bastards. I should go back in time and tee-pee his house.

I like Limning Light. It opens up a new concept of "Block and Fling". OR, you could copy a legend and kill instantly. It'd be nice to do that to a Keiga type creature. :D

The Maggots seem okay. Not to great, but that's fine. Nice crap uncommon or common filler.

The moggots are a fine common card, useful, but not overpowering.

Limning Light should be blue, not white. But the token it creates could still be white.

Maybe the Maggots could also destroy a land? Like:

Esurient Maggots 2BR
Creature - Insects
2BR, Sacrifice <THIS>: Destroy target artifact and target land
2/1
Uncommon

Make it "or" not "and", then make it a common.

Ransac

CPA Trash Man
I agree: "or".

But, That may warrant it an uncommon spot. It'd be instant Land D.....

Actually, yeah. It's a common, if Wrecking ball is common.

Void Storage
Artifact

Whenever you would draw a card, instead draw 2 cards, then choose 1 card in your hand and RFG.
4,T: Choose a card RFG, reveal it and then put it into your hand.
Uncommon

Well? Where is it broken?

Ransac

CPA Trash Man
It is extremely broken. I mean..... wow. Let the fixing begin....

Void Storage
Artifact
4 (2 is too good)
Whenever you would draw a card and if <THIS> is untapped, instead draw 2 cards, then choose 1 card in your hand and RFG.
4,T: Choose a card RFG, reveal it and then put it into your hand.

I can deal with that.... It started at 3cc.....
Yes, the "if it's untapped" is a good constraint......

Perhaps you have to remove one of the cards you've drawn from the game? Would still be very good, but gives you slightly less options.

I still the second ability is broken, but I'm willing to wait for playtesting.
