Why are there a few people in the memberlist who are listed as joining the CPA on Dec. 31, 1969?

Thats a glitch, I think it had something to do with Y2K.

(I hate that term is it too much effort for someone to say Year 2000? And now they have it on all those videogames like that, such as NFL 2K and NFL2K1 and another thing, why do the titles always have next year on them instead of this year? That really annoys me.)

And the video game is like magazines that come out 2-3 months before the date on the cover! Doesn't make much sense. Must give a Marketing advantage; everyone likes newer stuff better.

Basically, everyone who joined on December 31st of 1999 found themselves thirty years out of place due to some random Y2K glitch... On the plus side, we can now converse about how we started the CPA in anticipation of the release of Magic, and therefore claim to be the oldest Magic site on the 'Nets by an enormous margin.

Actually, it was anyone who joined between Jan 1, 2000 and approx Jan 8, when we took down the boards for the "routine" work.
