Spellweaver Helix

Mirrodin block has a lot of casual interesting rares, I think. Rares that are no tournament material but great but build a multiplayer deck with. Spellweaver Helix for example:

Imprint - When Spellweaver Helix comes into play, you may remove two target sorcery cards in a single graveyard from the game. (The removed cards are imprinted on this artifact.) Whenever a card is played, if it has the same name as one of the imprinted sorcery cards, you may copy the other and play the copy without paying its mana cost.

I made a Mono Black Control deck with Spellweaver Helix and it works reasonably. Most often the first Helix meets some artifact destruction but the deck lets you survive long enough to try it again. And when they don't have artifact destruction, whell playing corrupt every turn is nasty.

MBC Helix (budget)

4 Wall of Souls
4 Undead Gladiator
4 Bane of the Living

4 Spellweaver Helix
4 Wayfarer's Bauble

4 Barter with Blood
4 Corrupt
4 Evincar's Justice (buyback)
4 Brush With Death (buyback)

The idea is to imprint one buyback spell and a corrupt or barter with blood on the Helix and then keep casting the same buyback card over and over again.

Simple plan, easy to disrupt, but I had a few wins with it.

Now i'm wondering what are other great ways to use Spellweaver Helix?

With flashback? Other buyback cards? Graveyard recursion? Splice? Any idea is appreciated :)

Mikey was certainly on to something using intuition.

The hardest part is a speedy setup.

Unfortunately I have no Intuitions, so I'll use the quiet speculation (crushing worm + chatter of the squirrel) idea:

Crushing Helix.dec

11 forest
13 island

3 Moment's peace
3 Ray of Revelation
4 Quiet Speculation
4 Chatter of the Squirrel
4 Acorn Harvest
2 Crush of Worms

3 Compulsion
4 Spellweaver Helix

2 Groundskeeper
4 waterfront Bouncer
3 Wonder

Pretty straight strategy: create some flying 6/6 worms and go beatdown. The deck probably needs some tuning, but I'll find that out after playing it a few times.

EDIT: some tuning before testing. Less 4 of's to include 3x Moment's peace.
