Snow & Ice on the East Coast

Well, we got our first "measurable" snow/icefall yesterday and this morning... work closed early yesterday and we were four hours late today.

But the snow is all wet and heavy, not really good for snowballs... maybe sledding, but you'll probably get soaked doing it (more than if the snow was "regular" and more powder).

How is it where you are?

Pittsburgh got hit with 7" of snow yetserday and last night, then some real nice freezing rain to coat everything in ice. I'm at work, but it took me an hour to shovel my sidewalk and heat up my car enough to scrape the ice off.
It should get to below 10 degrees tonight.... tomorrows moring traffic should be insane.
I love winter time.. no, really I do.......

Hm...Looking at the thermometer right now, looks like it's 75 degrees at the moment and not a cloud in sight.

I do feel for everyone that's been inconvenienced, though. Blizzards can be a bummer.

School was canceled yesterday and today, WHOOPIE!!!!!!!!!!! :rolleyes:

Nightstalkers....make sure you get rid of all that snow and ice before I go there in late March/Early April!

Cabin fever? I've had that for years now. Too bad it's not contageous...

Man, I kinda wish I was in Oswego, NY for all of the snow but on the other hand, don't want all of the headaches that came with it :)

I think practically all coasts were gone in that movie, since the Himalayas became beachfront property...
