So, to rehash something I mentioned earlier...In Mark Rosewater's article on design stories, he talks about the card "Blister Beetle". So...It was originally a Jund card, but it was later incorporated as a Grixis card. So...that's how it got to be a Grixis card...um, did anyone else note that it is a mono-black card? I'm all for building decks around flavor, but when it comes time to sit at the table, there is nothing about this card that differenciates it into Grixis over Jund. Does Mark tell us this story just so we will know?
And I'm sure he doesn't - it's just something that was interesting to him, but a lot of things about how Alara is built as just basically irrelevant in the long run.
