I was going to make a tongue-in-cheek remark about how great it is that all the formats are still so healthy, but Spiderman beat me to it with a straightforward version of the same thing. Good job, I guess.
But really, I think that's mostly the reality of the situation. The format I follow most closely, Legacy, is in a state I'm not really happy with right now, but it's a rather messy issue and they're slow to test Legacy balancing for some reason. Personally, I'd just provisionally unban about a half dozen cards, some of which were banned in the last few years, and let the game runs its course for a while before returning any of those cards to the banned list. But that's not going to happen.
