I believe you used that ability backwards, Mooseman. I think it goes from Exile to the Graveyard, not the other way around.

Sheer Drop wasn't in my Exile zone originally, it was already in my graveyard. The only two cards in my Exile at this time when you cast the spell is the Sifter and Greathorn.
