What do you people do when not playing magic?
I've been playing the piano for seven years now, and it would interest me what other people have for hobbies.

Pianist, eh? You've just raised five points in my opinion. I'm working on a Post-Master's degree for Operatic performance. What composers do you enjoy playing?

Bach's inventions, Grieg, Beethoven (The moonlit sonata), and Swersey (I compose too.)

I'm a fan of Grieg. Lemme know when you start working on Liszt's Transcental Etudes and Rachimaninoff.

The piano and the human voice may be nice, but lets not kid ourselves here, the only thing really worth playing is the HAMBONE~!

I think this is somewhere in Frequently Asked, but my "hobbies" now are my wife, kids, occasional reading, occasional computer games (just got an Apple emulator and am re-playing Wizardry), and watching House, Survivor, Amazing Race, CSI, Without a Trace, and Ghost Whisperer.

*Grog looks at Melkor and does his best tenor impression, busting open Melkor's eardrum and revealing R&D's secret lab!

My newest hobby is weightlifting. I do it five times a week and do calisthenics 7 days a week and HIIT 3x's a week (High Intensity Interval Training).

I also am now playing basketball on Monday's after work and soon golfing with my colleagues come spring.

I aslo have been really getting to know how to play D & D v3.5 (and maybe v4.0 this summer). I like german board games, too.

Employment: Gotta love being a student :D Physics and Mathematics masters (3rd year of four)

Magic is a way of relaxing but I mainly play pool, lots of pool, so much so that as a poor student I bought a pool table with my mate to go in our house:cool:

Apart from that I fly/build kites, read, play pc/gamecube/ps2/360. I also program hehe, not usually someones hobby but I like it:) learning C/C++/Java at the moment. When I'm not doing that I hang out with my girlfriend or play football/badminton.

Anyone think I should focus on maybe a few things and sod the rest :p
