Pittsburgh's game last night vs the Buffalo Sabres was awesome! Darius Kasperitis (a defensemen no less) scored the OT goal!!!!!
Now they play the Devs in Jersey, scaryyyyyyy!

I'm ecstatic that they won! Philly being my hometown, i would root for them, 'cept Buffalo beat them in an incredibly embarassing shutout 8-0. Now I'm happy the Pens beat Buffalo, and I hope they do well against the Devils!

Personally, I'd like to see Bourque win a cup, but I'd rather the Blues win so the Flyers' can go after Blake/Sakic more easily.

Even though that game was awesome, the result didn't really matter, because it just determined who was gonna lose to Devils

I was rooting for the pens, mostly because of Mario Lemieux. In the hockey I've watched, most of it seems to be people running into each other in the corner. And then they fight. Frankly, I find it as boring as heck. But Lemieux and Jagr and a few others, they can do some magical things with their stickhandling and skating. I much prefer finesse to brute force, and that pretty much sums up the Pens.

Well, Lemieux always was my favourite player... And we (Leafs) lost to these dirty (j/k) Devils for the second year in a row... And my favourite team (Dallas) lost to Blues due to Modanno missing... Conclusion: GO PENS GO!!!

I'm from Washington, so I'm a Caps fan. I hate the Penguins, especially Kasperitis. The Pens seem to always beat the Caps. The Caps can beat any team except for the Penguins. And the Caps and the Pens seem to almost always play each other in the first round. So, to sum it all up,

GO DEVILS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I absolutely HATE the Penguins! The knocked the Caps out of this years playoffs, last year's playoffs, and a few other playoffs. The Caps have beaten the Pens in the playoffs probly once (maybe twice). Anyway, for tonight, I predict Devils 3, Penguins 2.

Lang and Kasperitis were out of play last night and besides, the Pens' stratagy is to make the series an exciting one by taking it in game 7 .

I new Hedberg was gonna give out eventually. All it took was time before Pittsuburgh's bad defense caught up with them, and Hedberg let by a couple of easy goals. I still stand by my prediction of New Jersey in 5.
