I remember talking about him and reading his articles/rants about green always got screwed and the Wakefield test where you play Magic with a d6 and every mistake you make (that you're aware of) you add one pip. By 6 you either lost the game or SHOULD have lost the game.

I've read his articles at SCG. Somehow it seems that since Wizards screwed up the color pie writing about monocolored decks is somewhat irrelevant. He's a good writer though.
