Exactly... five basics... that's worse than the one land you knew was most likely in the pack...

I've seen rare packs... (all rares) (starters nonetheless...)
I've seen rareless packs...
I've seen double-foil packs...
Half-foiled cards...
half-printed cards...
Blanks...
I've seen misprints (names, pics, etc.)
blurred prints (ink hadn't dried before packaging)
improper cuts (portions of one card on the card before it)
improper coloring (dark, and light)...

BUT I'VE NEVER SEEN 5 BASIC LANDS IN A REVISED PACK!...

oh.... it was mucho sucko...

I don't remember 5 either... that could have been a valuable pack :D
The problem with packs like that is that you can't tell it is a mis-created pack until it's opened, and then you have no proof that you didn't just put it together like that in the first place... Unfotunately, I don't think a "misprinted" pack is as valuable as the individual misprinted cards...

But even to a collector. How would you know it was a pack like that before it was opened?

I guess I am the odd one here then... I am actually trying to acquire a set of unopened packs... (including graphics) but Alpha and Beta seem to be slipping away from me...

To me, if it was "known" ot be mis-created, it would mean enough to need another in my set...

That's what collecting the pictures on the front of them will do...

sheesh!...
