If you don't mind me asking or if you've already said can you refresh my memory, how do you pay for the hosting costs since none of us do (that I know of)?

Since we split from Magic Singles (and Chuck? I don't even remember his name...), I've paid for it. Before that, he was paying for it.

Just checked my old emails, and that actually happened waaaaay back in August of 2001.

You've been chucking (no pun intended) out our own cash for all this time? I wish I had known. I would have sent some support a long time ago...

Wow... Ed, you really are the best. You're what, a college freshman now? Where does your income come from?

Wow, I didn't know you were paying out of pocket. I thought you still had a deal with someone.

Did that banner idea fall through? I remember you mentioning that you were toying with the idea...

I'll have enough credits to be considered a junior in about 3 weeks. :)

My income had come from Jelsoft (I was a developer of this forum software for almost 2 years), but I left back in Sept/Oct. Since I'm still living at home, I haven't had a ton of expenses (beyond car and insurance), so I've been working off what I'd saved up.

Right now though, that's running out. :( I'm currently looking to get some sort of summer internship, although I don't know how that's going to pan out right now... At the worst, I'll get some menial summer work. Or maybe I'll start consulting again.

I never really liked the banner idea that much. Besides, the internet ad market isn't really that great now (and hasn't been for years). What makes it worse is that we don't really get a ton of page views per day, so I don't even know what sort of partnership/banner revenue we could pull in.
