I've noticed lately that there has been alot of 'Favorite this' and 'the best that'. So I was just wondering what everybody's favorite band(s) are. Here's a small list of of the band that I like. I dont really have a favorite.
Staind
Korn
Papa Roach
3 Doors Down
Live
Tu Pac
Limp Bizkit
Pink Floyd

There are several others, but like I said this is a small list.

Umm... because maybe people have already posted on the topic and their favorite bands haven't changed? And Fire Slinger could see them there?

I didn't know there was another post. This one can be for the newbies and for people who like the bands that just came out. (Like UPO, 3 Doors Down, etc.)

Moe,

Gar, or Gwar?

Does anyone else like Creed?

Older band. I like Rush, pre-Grace under Presure.

Griffith - I just went and picked up Human Clay and I'm loving it. A LOT. :D Almost bought it awhile ago, but didn't feel like spending anymore money that night. If you have the first album (Is it called My Own Prison? Because I know that's a song on it), would you recommend it?

Orgg - I assume you're referring to What If. That's an awesome song. Cool video too for that matter.

Fire Slinger: I wasn't blaming or accusing you, I was just letting you know that if you were interested in the majority of active poster's opinions on favorite bands, you could go to the thread theorgg kindly provided and check them out there and maybe add your own to it. No big deal.

All of these gamers and none of them claim Jethro Tull as a favorite?! For shame! Especially the albums Heavy Horses and Songs from the Wood -- then again, the aforementioned albums were cut in the '70s...

Anyone else here brave enough to say that they like the glamrock bands of the eighties?

Poison
Cinderella
Def Lepard

and in the classic rock genre,

Rush
Tom Waits
Niel Young
Bob Dylan
Tom Petty
Bob Seger

That about covers it.

Tom Petty

Petty is GOOD! I've got three of his albums-greatest hits, Echo, and Wildflowers. I also love the rarity "change the locks" that was never relesed except in bootleg. check Napster for a copy.

I like Poison! Except for (I think) the last album where the guitarist CC left. It just doesn't sound the same.

And individual songs by Def Leppard.

Love Petty.

Just kidding.

Previous posting not withstanding, I was weaned onto Hard Rock/Heavy Metal by Sweaty Teddie Nugent (Double Live Gonzo Baby!). I moved on from there to such classic bands as Rush, Sabbath, Aerosmith, and UFO, before I topped out with stuff like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Guns and Roses, and Metallica. Mix in the Scorps, Van Halen, and bands like Boston, Kansas, Def Leppard, and Nirvana for a little spice, and there you have it!

My old Saturday night radio show! :D
