D&D: Palace of the Silver Princess

** Welcome Back DF... Spidey is out 'til the 20th or so... I'm pretty sure you aren't dead... maybe lost in a maze or something, but not dead... **

[Spiderman]

(DF, your character is still with the party, I'll PM you the details again. Welcome back. Now if only Azrael would remember...)

The party heads up the stairs and is now in the blood-stained sand room.

We'll head back down to the door we closed (the southern door) and then head west down that passage...

 

[Spiderman]

You travel about 40' west when the area opens up and it looks like you enter a room roughly 40' east-west and 30' north-south. The room has been partly cut from the surrounding rock and the stonework seems cruder than the rest of the palace. A door is in the middle of the west wall.

On a table in the center of the room is a small silver statue of a dragon readying for flight. In front of the statue, acting as guards, are five humans. Each human guard has a gaping wound which looks serious enough to kill any person who suffered them.

"Zombies then? Cleric, can you help with this?!"

 

[DarthFerret]

Raises his mace in one hand, and Holy Symbol in another....

"Foul creatures, descend back unto your unholy resting places!"

Then prepares to face the fiends....weapon at the ready!

 

[Spiderman]

Faced with this holy directive, all of the zombies turn and file out of the west door!

(Wow! You won't believe the rolls I just made for that!)

 

[Oversoul]

*Stares at Bertrem.*

"Impressive."

*Searches the area around the statue for traps before examining it. Obviously SOMEONE thought it was important.*

 

[Spiderman]

Cugel searches around the statue and then examines the statue itself.

 

[Oversoul]

"Ariksbane, destroyer of evil? There doesn't appear to be any evil here for it to destroy..."

*Cugel reaches for the statue.*

"If anyone here thinks it would be a bad idea for me to remove this statue, speak up now."

I'd like to give a reasonable amount of time (whatever that means) for anyone to object before Cugel grabs the statue.

"Shouldn't we finish off these Zombies before doing anything to impunge a deity?"

"I don't have any problem messing with the statue after that, but one problem at a time, he didn't destroy the zombies, just turn them."

 

[Oversoul]

"So--should we follow them?"

 

[Prince RXI]

Karnage mearly looks the way the zombies shambled off to... and sighs regretfully...

"I am all for pursuing the Zombies, they will be much easier to defeat now, before the turning wears off..."..

 

[Oversoul]

"Then we have no time to lose. Karnage, would you like to lead the way?"

*Cugel draws his sword.*

Karnage grins wildly *kind of like the feeling when christmas come early* and races after the zombies, blade ready...
