Okay, I just got out of my chem exam, well a while ago, and I have to ask about this.

At the end of the exam were some bonus questions, here's the first, approximately.

The substance dihydrogen monoxide has been researched thoroughly and linked with thousands of deaths nationwide. It is currently studied in many advanced science classes, and as of yet many of it's properties are not fully understood. Briefly state whether there should be governmental controls placed on this dangerous compound and why.

And the second one: (I am not kidding.)
Match the following characters with their favorite element:

There were some others, but they were serious. I'll see if I can get some answers on the second one, the first ones easy if you read it carefully.

And rather than add another response to this thread, I'l just edit this post.

I meant to put Krypton in with superman, that's what I did on the test, just forgot here.

About 18 months ago I was shown a site, where a bloke was getting up a pressure group to get diHydrogen monOxide banned. HE had quite a few people sign up, he used bits like listing the number of people who drown each year, but listed them as dieing by inhalation of DiH monO. Also listed cost of damage caused by exposure to diH monO, ie flood damage.
