I keep holding out hope that this set isn't going to be bad, but so far that has yet to be vindicated.
In my vague recollection, the fans of Greek mythology seemed excited for Theros. But as a bit of an Egyptian mythology fan, I'm just finding everything about Amonkhet annoying.

That promo card frame looks hideous, but because this card is suddenly named Mihazoret the Pervert it does have comedy value.

I've seen enough hilarity to know that the Invocations have been received with an appropriate measure of scorn. But am I the only one who thinks the Aftermath cards look ugly? I suppose that I was never the biggest split card fan, but I got used to them. This version seems worse, though.

I think that a good rule of thumb, is that, if you have to tilt your head to know what the card does, the mechanic is not worth the effort.
