Well, I've got another problem. I have an incredibly good red deck (as good as it gets for budget players; no lightning bolt). And It loses against one deck that I just can't beat. The deck that it always loses against has only three saving graces. And these three cards piss me off so hard!
The three cards are CoP:Red, Ghostly Prison, and Story Circle.
We have to face it. It's useless to play with red unless you run Black Vises or Cursed Scrolls. I can't afford that stuff! It's awful. Red doesn't have a single playable card that kills an enchantment. Playable? No, that's incorrect. It doesn't have ANY cards that kill enchantments.
In the history of MTG, there is one card that Mono-Red can use to destroy an enchantment. Nevyrral's Disc. And there's a second hard part about this card, other than that it's impossible to spell right. It is (Expletive Deleted) IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! The people who have it won't trade it, and so, my red deck dies to CoP: Red or any White deck at all!!
I'VE HAD IT!!!!!!
Would it be to much to ask for a card like... oh, I have one!

CARDNAME's colors are those of the mana used to play it.
Destroy target artifact or ENCHANTMENT??!?!?!??

Is that too much to ask? I am so SICK OF STORY CIRCLE!!!

Okay, admitted, there are ways around CoP: White. Sudden Shock will get by, and cards like Lava Burst and Demonfire will work, but how many overpriced 2-damage spells or X spells can you put in a red burn deck? And Demonfire is a Choice Rare.

<shrug> It's red's weakness, the inability to deal with enchantments. You just gotta live with it.

Exactly. Each color has it's own weakness that it just has to accept or splash with more colors to get around. Red can't deal with enchantments without relying on something else. HOWEVER, no other color has the agressiveness that Red has (burn and excess haste creatures). If you wish to get around COP: Red or the like while just staying Red, either kill more quickly and don't be conservative with your burn OR throw in a few decent artifact creatures that can help.

That, or use Apocalypse as the ultimate reset button.

Been alright. For some reason, the CPA main page isn't blocked, but the forums are for (dating/pornography) reasons by the firewall. However, the toy collecting forum littlerubberguys.com isn't blocked at all unless you're trying to use the search function. Why? I have no idea.

And Anarchy sounds like this new guy's answer. $4 at Star City Games.com for a playset, and it's all good.

Must... Get... Four... Apocalypses....

Anarchy is too biased to be useful against most of my friends. Plus, if I play a color-hoser against one of them, there's going to be complaints.

True, but Anarchy doesn't have the downside of losing your hand after casting.

Do you guys really want to know on which level this deck is competing?
Okay, i remember there was this champion deck with four lightning bolts, four fireblast, ball lightnings, et cetera.
Take the ball lightnings and cursed scrolls out, and add a bunch of really hard-hitting goblins. That is what this deck is build to compete against. Skull catapult isn't even considerable, and I have no idea where I'm going to get a cursed scroll-they're just too good.
