...I was rummaging through my old white bordered cards from Fifth Edition and BAM! two copies of this little gem popped out: Soul Barrier

OMG! I found a soul mate for Propaganda

They have already found a home together in one of my blue/black pet decks.

I've known about Soul Barrier for like, wow, I guess it must be like thirteen or fourteen years. But I've hardly ever bothered with it. The option to either pay mana or pay life doesn't limit opponents enough for my taste. If you can combine it with enough other cards to deny opponents, then that could be fun...
