Genesis Chamber with Sliver Queen?

For some reason, I was thinking of the good old Sliver Queen combos again. An old favorite was Sliver Queen/Heartstone/Ashnod's Altar. For those who don't already know...

Sliver Queen + Heartstone = 1: put a 1/1 Sliver token into play.

Sliver Queen + Ashnod's Altar = Sacrifice any creature: make a token.

Sliver Queen + Heartstone + Ashnod's Altar = INFINITE MANA AND CREATURES!

Now, what I'm wondering, and what some of you may have already tried while I was busy considering other things...

Shouldn't the new Genesis Chamber replace Heartstone here? It costs one mana less after all. I suppose the only disadvantage is that it by itself doesn't provide a boost for some other slivers that one might use, such as Armor/Mnemonic/Clot/Mindwhip/Barbed/Victual/Acidic.

I believe genisis chamber only triggers with non token creatures. I dont think it works out right. And that sliver queen/heartstone/ashnod's altar is totally bad ass.

That is true, nontoken creatures don't work with it...

Ah, okay, I could have just looked it up before asking that, but I don't deal with infinite sliver combos anymore anyway, so wasn't really serious about it. My mistake...

And I guess Heartstone would be better except for the cc.

The Aluren trick with either Man-O'-War, or (as Train pointed out) Cavern Harpy (or what about a green gating creature like Fleetfoot Panther?) could be powerful as well.

The Harpy has already proven it'sstrength in extended - this just amplifies that strength and makes it a beast...

or you could just resort to the storm version of harpy...
