Hard name to remember, right? She was an Italian neurologist and the longest-living Nobel prize winner (died yesterday at 102). She discovered nerve growth factor and epidermal growth factor. When she was hiding from Nazis, she cooked and ate leftovers from her experiments on chicken embryos in order to survive. Pretty badass, I think.
