New game: Dominion

All right. I've decided I would like to run a game of Dominion for anybody who may be interested in trying it out. I have attached the PDF of the rules to this post, for those of you unfamiliar with the game (and for Mooseman, who has played before but probably needs a refresher... heh heh).

Basically, the gist of it is that you are trying to acquire the most victory points in your deck by the end of the game. For a typical turn, you draw 5 cards and are permitted to perform one action (playing an action card from your hand) and buy one card (from the stockpiles). Some action cards add to the number of actions and/or buys you can perform. Buys are permitted only if you have enough treasure in your hand to afford the cost of the card you would like to purchase. At the end of your turn, you discard any unused cards in your hand and draw a fresh 5-card hand. When your draw pile runs out of cards and you must draw, your discard pile gets shuffled up and you draw from there.

I'm going to keep the first game simple -- none of the "attack" action cards will be used, so each player controls his own choices. I'll also be handling all the logistics... when it's your turn, I will post the cards in your hand and you can then make your plays directly through this thread.

Please let me know over the next few days if you would like to play. I'd like to get this set up and started on Monday.

Edit: Per the game rules, I'm going to limit this to four players. As in "History of the World: Part One," it's first served, first come.

Current player list:
1. Spiderman
2. Turgy22
3. Melkor
4. Oversoul

Nothing Special
I'll play, but I won't read the rules. That should make things easier for everybody. And by "everybody" I mean "me".

The Tentacled One
I'm in. Not sure if this game will translate well on a message board, but it's worth a shot. Don't worry, I know the rules and played on like two occasions, but I'm still going to be even worse than Turgy.

Right then. We'll get started... I've decided that play order is the same as the order of sign-ups. Why? It's the easiest for me.

Treasure cards are used to buy actions and victory cards:
Copper (Cost = 0): Value = 1 treasure.
Silver (Cost = 3): Value = 2 treasure.
Gold (Cost = 6): Value = 3 treasure.

The victory cards are as follows.

Estate (Cost = 2): Value = 1 victory point.
Duchy (Cost = 5): Value = 3 victory point.
Province (Cost = 8): Value = 6 victory point.

The following action cards are being used in this game:
Cellar (Cost = 2): +1 action. Discard any number of cards from your hand. Draw that many cards.
Village (3): +2 actions. Draw one card.
Woodcutter (3): +1 buy. +2 treasure for this turn.
Moneylender (4): Trash a copper from your hand. If you do, gain +3 treasure for this turn.
Feast (4): Trash this card. Gain a card costing up to 5.
Smithy (4): Draw 3 cards.
Festival (5): +2 actions. +1 buy. +2 treasure for this turn.
Laboratory (5): +1 action. Draw two cards.
Market (5): +1 action. +1 buy. Draw one card. +1 treasure for this turn.
Mine (5): Trash a treasure card from your hand. Put a treasure card costing up to 3 more into your hand.

Each of you has been given 7 coppers and 3 estates to start your kingdoms. The game will proceed along turn by turn until one of the following occurs:
1. The stockpile of 12 Province cards is emptied.
2. Any three stockpiles are emptied.

The player with the most victory points at the end wins.

Note: As you buy cards, they are added to your collection -- so if you buy one card each of your first two turns, your 12-card collection is shuffled to make your draw pile for the beginning of your third turn.

Aw crap, I didn't read the rules yet. But I don't want to hold anyone up, especially since I'm not here tomorrow, so I'll be like turgy22... :D

So I hope this is what I can do:
